Join us for a moonlit adventure at Alston Park! As the nearly full moon rises, a City of Napa Park Ranger will guide you a family-friendly night hike through the park's open fields and trails. We'll listen for the calls of Barn Owls and Great Horned Owls and watch the skies for their silent night flights. Keep your eyes and ears open for other nocturnal creatures like bats, jackrabbits, toads, and coyotes that come alive after dark.

This program is designed for families and nature lovers of all ages. Bring a flashlight, binoculars if you have them, and a sense of curiosity! Children are welcome, but not required, to wear Halloween costumes, no masks please for safety reasons.
