Instructors: Nimbus Artist masters of studio fun!
Join our team of master artists during this weekly creative hub! Young-adult artists will meet the art world’s heavy hitters in this spirited and inquiring approach to artistic invention while invited to bring art projects, musical instruments, portfolios, or nothing but their creative ideas! Students will discover their own artistic voice and produce their own masterpieces - sculpting, sketching, painting, and playing music while discovering the connection between creativity, history, and the contemporary art world. We will inspire our teen artists by looking at the styles of the world’s greatest artists, exploring work from each art movement, and each other. Expect everything from free time to create your own work and portfolio, free style art activity, constructive critiques, or even impromptu open mic nights and guest artist visits. Join us in this creative space to work on a school project, visit with creative friends, or just time to chill with a few yummy snacks thrown in to keep the creative juices flowing!! FREE TO ALL!

Turn a granny square into an adorable holiday ornament with our Granny Square Tree Craft Kit.
The craft kit will be available for pickup beginning December 12 at all Napa County Library locations, while supplies last. (Ages 11+)
Wiggle Room (Age Under 5)
A fun unstructured play program inside the gym at Napa Parks and Rec’s temporary location at 3144 Jefferson St. The perfect place for you and your littles to come play, learn and get their wiggles out! Wiggle Room is a great place to have play dates or come spend some quality time being active with your child or grandchild. This is a parent/grandparent/guardian participation class.
The Wiggle Room drop in fee of $7 will admit all children under 4 yrs from a single household.

Christmas in Calistoga: Shop Late & Celebrate! (All Ages)
Christmas in Calistoga: Shop Late & Celebrate!
Friday, December 12th 6-9 PM
Calistoga will be glowing for the holidays! Enjoy late-night shopping, festive sips, treats, and seasonal specials throughout downtown. The evening starts at 6:00 PM with the Virgen de Guadalupe Procession along the sidewalks by Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, a beautiful community tradition.
Come out, support local, and soak in the holiday magic!
Shops will stay open until 8:00 or 9:00 PM.
Holiday Lights Group Bike Ride (All Ages)
Holiday Lights Group Bike Ride
Join the Napa County Bicycle Coalition & Athletic Feat Bicycle Works for a free family-friendly community bike ride touring festive holiday homes in north Napa and highlighting safe biking skills on Friday, December 12, 2025! We'll be getting in the holiday spirit with decorated bikes, a ride full of jolly holiday lights, and a warm drink warm-down at Redwood Plaza Starbucks, with free hot chocolate for youth participants.
Ride starts at Athletic Feat Bicycle Works (3367 Solano Ave, in the Redwood Plaza) and ends at Redwood Plaza Starbucks.
Group meets at 6:00 PM, ride takes off at 6:10 PM.
Ride is family-friendly - all children must be on bikes without training wheels.
Ride will be ~4-5 miles.
All riders must wear a helmet. Since it will be dark, per California law, riders must have a white front bike light and red rear reflector (red light recommended). Don't have lights? NCBC will bring free front & rear lights for any riders who need them!
Holiday-themed bike decorations, lights, and attire are encouraged!

St. Helena Children's Choir Holiday Concert (Age 8-12)
St. Helena Children's Choir Holiday Concert
Join us for your favorite Holiday music featuring the St. Helena Children's Chorus, under the direction of Craig Bond. Our annual concert is guaranteed to spark your memories of family gatherings and the festive traditions that we all cherish.
Doors open at 11:30 am and the concert begins at 12:00 Noon, followed by our famous hot chocolate and holiday cookies at Intermission. Stay to enjoy a complimentary family-friendly short Holiday movie. Tickets $5
Craig Bond and Melissa Bond teach choral principles and direct this choir for children ages 8 to 12. The choir perform two to three concerts a year, participates in competitions, and occasional special events...such as singing the National Anthem to open San Francisco Giants games! They are a St. Helena Holiday tradition.

A HOLIDAY PUPPET SPECTACULAR - Not To Be Missed!
Get that holiday spirit ramped up into full gear with a double dose of winter wonderland fun! The puppets return to The Jarvis Conservatory; bringing with them the joy and laughter that will springboard the entire family -- launching them through to the new year, and smiling every step of the way!
The Puppet Art Theater Company returns to The Jarvis Conservatory with their production of THE HOLIDAY THREE BILLY GOATS GRUFF. It's the Holidays so it's time for the Annual Wintery Race Between the Tortoise and the Hare. Hare, super speedy, Tortoise, slow and steady. Who will win? The conclusion of the race takes place on the “Troll Bridge” waking up the Grumpy Old Troll who of course hates the Holidays! Three Billy Goats must find a way to outwit the Troll and get across the bridge so they can enjoy their Holiday Feast of green, green grass. Little Billy, his older sister Brittany, and their father Bruno all try to Fa-La-LA their way across the bridge. Will they make it? Puppeteer: Art Grueneberger
Fratello Marionettes will once again amaze Napa. This time with their production of THE NORTH POLE REVIEW. This winter extravaganza is the perfect way to get into the holiday spirit. It is a music-based production showcasing the graceful ice skater Crystal Chandelier, the high-kicking antics of the Russian Trepak Dancers, and a trio of dazzling acrobatic penguins. Among the most beloved holiday albums of all time, A Charlie Brown Christmas has been certified Triple Platinum with sales of over three million copies. The session was voted into the GRAMMY Hall of Fame in 2007 and was added to the Library of Congress’ National Recording Registry’s list of “culturally, historically, or aesthetically important” American recordings.
The album includes a definitive version of the Peanuts theme song “Linus and Lucy” and a pair of originals now considered Christmas standards, “Christmas Time Is Here” and “Skating,” as well as new arrangements of classic holiday songs “O Tannenbaum” and “What Child is This,” among others.
A San Francisco native who is best known as part of Marcus Shelby’s Jazz Orchestra and a creative force on the San Francisco jazz scene for more than a decade, Adam Shulman studied music at UC Santa Cruz and soaked up bandstand wisdom from the late, beloved piano master Smith Dobson and work with Stefon Harris, Miguel Zenón, Luciana Souza, Paula West, Larry Coryell, and Bobby Hutcherson. He brings Guaraldi’s classic to life with a trio comprising several of the Bay Area’s finest musicians.

Set against the backdrop of Sonoma’s twinkling Plaza lights, Holiday Serenades invites the community to gather for an evening of warmth, connection, and festive spirit. Enjoy classic carols, winter favorites, and sparkling holiday arrangements performed by Sonoma’s talented youth and professional musicians. Guests can sip mulled wine and hot chocolate, nibble on cookies and seasonal treats, and explore hands-on holiday crafts for kids presented by the Sonoma Community Center — a perfect way to experience the beauty and joy of the season.

A fun unstructured play program inside the gym at Napa Parks and Rec’s temporary location at 3144 Jefferson St. The perfect place for you and your littles to come play, learn and get their wiggles out! Wiggle Room is a great place to have play dates or come spend some quality time being active with your child or grandchild. This is a parent/grandparent/guardian participation class.
The Wiggle Room drop in fee of $7 will admit all children under 4 yrs from a single household.

Novack Concert for Kids ¡Viva Mariachi! (School Groups Only)

Presented in collaboration with Napa Valley College as part of their 6th Annual ¡Viva Mariachi! celebration, today’s Novack Concert for Kids features Mariachi Las Aguilitas de Davis Bilingual Elementary School in Tucson, Arizona, an award-winning ensemble whose members performed on Good Morning America in 2023. A pre-concert Mariachi instrument petting zoo organized by the Napa Valley Education Foundation’s Music Connection program gives students the opportunity to experience some hands-on learning about this rich musical tradition and its origins.

Ming Luke guest conducts Festival Orchestra Napa in a fun and informative concert of favorites to showcase the full range orchestra instruments. Young audience members will be introduced to the various elements of music including dynamics, tempo, texture, and form and will experience a pre-concert Instrument Petting Zoo starting at 9am, presented in collaboration with the Napa Valley College Music Department and Napa Valley Education Foundation's Music Connection program. Attendees interested in touring the Napa Valley College campus after the concert are encouraged to reach out to the Festival education department early.

Join us at The Village Calistoga for our Tractor Parade Watch Party, your cozy home base on parade night. We will reserve your seats so you can relax together, sip wine, and enjoy easy in and out access to stretch little legs or grab a bite while the tractors light up Lincoln Avenue. Kids can play before, during, and after in our clean, sock-only indoor playspace with a rock climbing wall, giant foam pit, reading tree, and sensory swings. Capacity is limited, so book early. Evening temps can be chilly, so wear layers. It might even rain, but you have in and out access, so who cares. Stay warm inside with us. Parents must accompany there child at all times and sign a waiver upon arrival.

A fun unstructured play program inside the gym at Napa Parks and Rec’s temporary location at 3144 Jefferson St. The perfect place for you and your littles to come play, learn and get their wiggles out! Wiggle Room is a great place to have play dates or come spend some quality time being active with your child or grandchild. This is a parent/grandparent/guardian participation class.
The Wiggle Room drop in fee of $7 will admit all children under 4 yrs from a single household.

Celebrate the Holidays at Bale Grist Mill Historic State Park (All Ages)
Celebrate the Holidays at Bale Grist Mill Historic State Park
December 6, 2025 – 10:00am-2:00pm
$5 per person (under 2 years old free entry)
Every winter, the Bale Grist Mill hosts a 19th century holiday celebration, pioneer style!
Enjoy making a clove pomander or wreath of rosemary for your home, string popcorn and cranberries for the tree, write a letter to Santa in calligraphy and seal with red wax, and other activities to help get in the holiday spirit. Children especially enjoy decorating gingerbread cookies or cutting paper snowflakes.
There are demonstrations throughout the day on things like lace making, wool spinning, waxed egg decorating and milling demonstrations. Cookies and cider will be served too!
