A Morning with Sal Garcia — Coast Pomo Cultural Presentation

Join us for a special presentation with Sal Garcia-Pinola, a member of the Coast Pomo community and a cultural educator with the Suscol Intertribal Council. Sal has shared Native American traditions and knowledge with schools and community organizations throughout the region, helping others learn about the enduring cultures of California’s Native peoples.

Sal will share stories and insights into Coast Pomo culture, traditions, and connection to the natural world, along with a special presentation of traditional instruments and music. This is a wonderful opportunity to learn directly from a Native cultural educator and gain a deeper appreciation for the Indigenous history and living cultures of our region.
